The next New Mexico SAQA Regional meeting is Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Hip Stitch Fabric Store in Albuquerque at 10:30.

Hip Stitch is located near the intersection of Wyoming and Menaul NE – near Hoffmantown.
There is parking at the store lot and also in the small strip mall across the street.
Bring your completed pieces for Out of the Blue. Be sure to also bring a slat cut ¼” shorter than the width of your quilt. Small 1/8” holes need to be drilled into each end of your slat. The reception of Out of the Blue is May 10 from 4 – 6 at the Capitol. More info at the meeting.
Also if you have made a 12” x 12” auction quilt to donate to the SAQA auction please bring that.
We will have sign ups for volunteering at Fiber Arts Fiesta. Bring your calendar and get ready to spend some fun time at the Fiesta!
Hip Stitch has generously offered us the use of the classroom on Saturday afternoon after the meeting to work on doo-dahs for the Fiesta. If you already have a plan and are working on things bring them to show and use this time to continue your project. OR if you haven’t started making things, I’ll have everything needed to make cards. If you have any card making supplies that you’d like to share, feel free to bring them. Just be sure to label your things.
