Sue Szazer sent this message to let everyone know of this find:  I received this from another artist in Madrid...her shop is across from mine.  She has these huge linen and silk tablecloths that she is selling and wondered if any quilters might be interested.
 Someone might want them for backings or to make clothes, or ????

I have 14 large (banquet sized, 88 X 108ish) antique linen damask tablecloths that I'd like to sell. 4 are in excellent condition, the others show some minor wear. They are from a great grandmother's estate, circa 1880's. One I believe is silk. Assorted patterns, and they are all beautiful. I'd love to sell them as a lot. Prices, as far as I can guess, are anything from $20. to $200.each. They would be great for someone designing clothing or perhaps for quilters. I'd love to pass them on to someone who appreciates their beauty and is clever enough to transform them into something new.
