RUIDOSO UPDATE FOR APRIL 4 AND 5TH

Good News from Carol, who has been working on getting a reduced hotell rate/block for us in Ruidoso! We have the $74.99, $84.46 with tax per night, rate at the Best Western Pine Springs Inn. Reservation deadline is March 27, 2014. Thank you Carol Caruso! When people make a reservation, they should call the hotel directly at 575-378-8100 and tell the reservationist that they are in the SAQA group in order to get the better rate. If you already made a reservation at the Best Western you can call them back and tell them you are with the SAQA group and they will give you our group rate. Also, Carol has a room with 2 queen beds if someone wants to attend and would like to share the expense. Carol will be driving down on Thursday but could take a roommate back to Albuquerque or Rio Rancho if they get a ride down. Remember, if you have not told Vicky or me that you are coming for the dinner or workshop, please do so now so that plans can be made. The Workshop/demo on the morning of April 5th is free! All you need to bring is a pair of latex gloves and painting clothes. You will be able to watch several techniques using Color Hue dyes by Betty and Holly and make a small sample piece to take home. > If you wish to purchase additional materials to create on your own, dyes and silk are available from Dharma Trading.
