ALBUQUERQUE'S BIENNIAL FIBER ARTS FIESTA

The 2013 Albuquerque Fiber Arts Fiesta has wrapped up for another two years.  SAQA members from all over the country were well represented in the quilt show that was sponsored by the New Mexico Quilters' Association and Thimbleweeds Guilds.

Congratulations go to Nancy Steidle, winner of Best in Show and to all the many other members who won ribbons.  Following are some pictures of New Mexico SAQA member quilts and even a couple from the New England SAQA chapter.

Shannon Conley of Moore, Oklahoma had entries in AFAF and congratulations to her on receiving Best of Show at the Machine Quilters' Showcase in Kansas for her dinosaur quilt that was in our Walk in the Wild Show.  Although the tornado that tore through Moore, OK came very close to Shannon's home, they are all okay.  Let's all give our best thoughts to folks in Moore who were devastated by this storm.
