Hip Stitch 2320 Wisconsin Blvd NE Albuquerque This is their new location near the intersection of Wyoming and Menaul, NE - near Hoffmantown. Plenty of parking as well. No food is needed, but you can bring your own drink and snack if you would like. Be sure to bring show and tell and your Structures quilt. Structures Show Mark Hollingsworth will give a talk on having your work professionally photographed. He created the photo montage that was used in the signage for the show: the signs will be at the meeting for you to preview. The postcards for the Structures show are in! They will be available at the meeting, as well as sample posters. We'll have the proof copy of the catalog as well, if you would like to order any copies. Please join me in thanking Shannon Conley for her work in designing all of these. There is more exciting news from our exhibition committee - hope to see you there! A list of the pieces accepted by Dr. Sanchez is below. Delivery of accepted works (must have a hanging slat included) may be made directly to the Capitol building on April 10 at 10 am. Photos of correct hanging slats are below - use 2"x1/4" wooden slats available at any hardware store. If you are unable to deliver your artwork at this time or at the March SAQA meeting, contact our area rep, Gale Oppenheim-Pietrzak goppie@sbcglobal.net to arrange alternate delivery instructions.
